A Touch of Heaven

This is a day of silence and of trust. It is a special time of promise in your calendar of days. It is a time Heaven has set apart to shine upon, and cast a timeless light upon this day, when echoes of eternity are heard. This day is holy, for it ushers in a new experience; a different kind of feeling and awareness. You have spent long days and nights in celebrating death. Today you learn to feel the joy of life. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.157.1)

We bring a touch of Heaven to the world when we recognize our brothers as wholly innocent and wholly loving. This is the vision of Christ. It means that we are seeing with forgiving eyes, free of judgment and free of the past.

Today we are willing to let the vision of Christ in our minds show us the innocence and love in everyone. We would let the Guide to this vision transform our mistaken thoughts of guilt and fear, washing them clean and returning them to us in perfect innocence and Love. We are willing to be led.

Today is a day of vigilance to recognize our thoughts based upon the mistaken belief in being separate and to offer them to the holy Corrector in our minds that we may walk the way of truth. Each time a thought of guilt or fear is transformed into the recognition of our oneness in Love, we bring a touch of Heaven to the world.
