Accepting Holy Spirit’s Helping Hand

My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world. Since the thoughts of which I am aware do not mean anything, the world that pictures them can have no meaning. What is producing this world is insane, and so is what it produces. Reality is not insane, and I have real thoughts as well as insane ones. I can therefore see a real world, if I look to my real thoughts as my guide for seeing.

My thoughts are images that I have made. Whatever I see reflects my thoughts. It is my thoughts that tell me where I am and what I am. The fact that I see a world in which there is suffering and loss and death shows me that I am seeing only the representation of my insane thoughts, and am not allowing my real thoughts to cast their beneficent light on what I see. Yet God’s way is sure. The images I have made cannot prevail against Him because it is not my will that they do so. My will is His, and I will place no other gods before Him. Our real thoughts are the thoughts we share with God/Love. Our perceptions of loss and harm come from the insane images of the ego belief in separation. This is an important signal that lets us know our thinking is insane — based on illusions, not reality. The Holy Spirit in our mind is always offering us His Helping Hand from the firm ground of Love’s Reality to lift us out of the ego’s quicksand of illusions. We are not left to sink into the ego’s oblivion of separation from God.

It is time to accept the Helping Hand. The moment we recognize the signal of insane thinking we need to step back and turn our attention to the Holy Spirit in our mind. With the strength of God’s Reality, we are lifted out of insanity into our Home in changeless Love.

The Holy Spirit’s vision in our mind will show us the rock-solid certainty of Love beyond the chaotic, unreliable\ images of the ego world. As we let His vision transform our perception, we step onto the solid ground of changeless Love. Today we choose to accept the Holy Spirit’s Helping Hand.
