Accepting Holy Spirit’s Purpose

If you accept the Holy Spirit’s purpose for the world, it will in time become a happy place where the Truth of Heaven is reflected, and Love and forgiveness are extended to all. The beauty of Truth will shine forth, the Light will shine in every living thing, and you will see everyone as brother to you. (From the Christ Mind, p. 169-170)

Unhappiness is the inevitable result of judgment. It hides reality from our awareness. It stands between us and the awareness of the Love we are.

Happiness is the inevitable result of forgiveness. Forgiveness clears away the barriers to the awareness of Love’s presence. It opens the doors and windows of our minds to welcome the Light of Love. Through forgiveness we welcome the truth in our brother and ourselves.

The Holy Spirit was given us, in the moment of our insanity when we believed that we could be separate, as our Guide to lead us back to sanity — to lead us back to Love. Without this Guide we would indeed be stuck in the dream of loneliness and loss. But with the practice of bringing all our thoughts of guilt, fear and judgment to the Holy Spirit with the willingness to accept His Help, we return to the joy of our true Self. We will experience the happiness that comes with remembering our oneness with our brothers.
