Accepting Our One Self in Everyone

Father, we are like You. No cruelty abides in us, for there is none in You. Your peace is ours. And we bless the world with what we have received from You alone. We choose again, and make our choice for all our brothers, knowing they are one with us. We bring them Your salvation as we have received it now. And we give thanks for them who render us complete. In them we see Your glory, and in them we find our peace. Holy are we because Your Holiness has set us free. And we give thanks. Amen. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.170.13)

Our practice today is to let the Holy Spirit’s vision show us the innocence and Love in everyone. As we accept His vision we learn that our real Self is Love and innocence. This true vision is the basis for forgiveness. It shows us that we remain as God created us. It shines away the dark shadows that seem to justify a need to defend. It opens our awareness to the truth in ourselves and our brothers so that we welcome everyone into the circle of Love that is our Home. As we accept the Holy Spirit’s vision as our own, we accept our Self.
