Accepting What Is Given Us by God

God’s joy and peace are given us in our creation. If we are not experiencing this, it is because we are choosing not to accept His gifts. Any judgement, any unforgiveness, is a denial of God’s gift. It is a defense against our Self. This is why forgiveness is the key to happiness.

The ego is incapable of forgiveness because it is the decision not to forgive. But through the strength of God in us, His Voice can teach us to see beyond the images of the world to the Light of Love that is everywhere. Our focus today is on our willingness to be taught of our innocence and the innocence of all our brothers. As we learn this joyful lesson, we recognize our dearest Friend everywhere.
