Beyond the Stories of the World

Robert:
As I look upon the stories of the world with the Holy Spirit, I see that there is less and less to talk about in the world’s terms. If my function is to remember only the Love that is given us by God, then it is not my job to join with the stories of lack, devastation, guilt and fear in the world. My job is to consistently hold my mind open to the Holy Spirit’s way of seeing these stories.

Every story of the world is an opportunity to practice seeing beyond the images to the truth of Love. Every one is a lesson in Love when I am willing to see as Holy Spirit sees. The appearance of violence becomes a reminder that the Son of God is not a body. He is still Love as God created Him. The appearance of harm is just an image projected from the part of my mind that is identified with a false image. It shows me the need to teach the lesson in Love that sees the Son of God as Love and nothing else.

As I practice paying attention to Holy Spirit’s way of seeing, there may be occasions when I am inspired to say something that would be helpful in the moment, but it may also be that I say nothing while I hold my attention on the vision of my true Self. Either way, I am teaching myself that I am Love and nothing else, as God created me. Today is another happy day to practice aligning myself with the Love that is God’s creation.

Today my practice is to stay in the present moment and allow myself to be led by the Holy Spirit… Today’s practice involves letting go of the past and future. This letting go opens the door to the Light of the Eternal Present… The Light of the Eternal Present is brought to me by the Holy Spirit, as I am willing to receive. I need nothing more than this to awaken to what is eternally real.
