Experiencing the Miracle of Love

Strength and light unite in you, and where they meet, your Self stands ready to embrace you as Its Own.

Let yourself be brought unto your Self. Its strength will be the light in which the gift of sight is given you. Leave, then, the dark a little while today, and we will practice seeing in the light, closing the body’s eyes and asking truth to show us how to find the meeting place of self and Self, where light and strength are one. What the body’s eyes shows us is an interference with what the true Vision of our Self sees. The body’s eyes are the ego’s tool for making images that hide the truth and make the idea of separation seem real. Gratefully, we can redirect our attention to our inner vision. The inner vision of our true Self sees with the Light of Love. In this Light, only Love is seen because only Love is real.

We practice opening to true vision today. We close our eyes and let the images of the world pass by, giving them no attention… As we dismiss these images, we gently sink into deep peace… In this deep peace, we become more and more aware of the Light of Love… We see more and more the Love behind all appearances… Appearances fade and Love is recognized as our Reality…

This is our Self. In this recognition, we experience all our brothers as one with us… We share this Love… There is nothing else to share. Thus we meet our Self and experience the miracle of Love, extending without limit. This is our practice for today.
