Giving God’s Love to All

Consider the kingdom you have made and judge its worth fairly. Is it worthy to be a home for a child of God? Does it protect his peace and shine love upon him? Does it keep his heart untouched by fear, and allow him to give [Love] always, without any sense of loss? Does it teach him that this giving [Love] is his joy, and that God Himself thanks him for his giving? That is the only environment in which you can be happy. You cannot make it, any more than you can make yourself. It has been created for you, as you were created for it. God watches over His children and denies them nothing. Yet when they deny Him they do not know this, because they deny themselves everything. You who could give the Love of God to everything you see and touch and remember, are literally denying Heaven to yourself. (A Course in Miracles, T-7.XI.3. See also ACIM Text Q & A.)

There is no form in the world that can bring us the joy that comes with giving God’s Love to all. To give His Love, we must see past form, seeing only innocence. The Light of Love shines in us and through us when we are willing to set aside our learning from the past and welcome the ever present Love that is our true Nature. The Love in us is then free to join with Love everywhere and in everyone.

We set aside our learning from the past through forgiveness. We must be willing to let the Holy Spirit teach us to recognize what is true and what could never be true. It is only the wish for the untrue to be real that needs to be forgiven or let go. Today we practice opening our minds to the Holy Spirit’s vision of Love that we may give God’s Love everywhere.
