Giving and Receiving Salvation

You who belong in God have the holy function of extending His Fatherhood by placing no limits upon it. Let the Holy Spirit teach you how to do this, for you can know what it means only of God Himself.

When you meet anyone, remember it is a holy encounter. As you see him you will see yourself. As you treat him you will treat yourself. As you think of him you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself. Whenever two Sons of God meet, they are given another chance at salvation. Do not leave anyone without giving salvation to him and receiving it yourself. For I am always there with you, in remembrance of you. (A Course in Miracles T-8.3:5-4:8)

Today’s practice is to remember that everyone is in God and of God. Everyone is the extension of our Father. This is the truth about everyone and today we are given another opportunity to let the Holy Spirit bring this awareness to our minds all through the day.

Because everyone is in God, everyone is perfectly safe, no matter what “storms” may seem to surround us in the dream. We have the Holy Spirit to help us see the truth in every brother and thereby learn of the truth on ourselves. This is how confusion is undone. As we accept Holy Spirit’s vision, we remember the center of peace within that cannot be disturbed.
