God’s Gifts of Peace & Joy Belong to Us Today

His are the gifts that are within us now, for they are timeless. And we need not wait to have them. They belong to us today.

Therefore, we choose to have them now, and know, in choosing them in place of what we made, we but unite our will with what God wills, and recognize the same as being one.

[We] lay aside the conflicts of the world that offer other gifts and other goals made of illusions, witnessed to by them, and sought for only in a world of dreams.

All this we lay aside, and seek instead that which is truly ours, as we ask to recognize what God has given us. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.104.2:4-6;3:1,4;4:1. See also ACIM Lesson 104 Insights.)

Imagine what today and every day would be like as you accept the peace and joy God has given you eternally… Better yet, imagine what the next hour will be like as you let God’s peace and joy fill your mind… You let God’s peace and joy carry you through this sacred hour…

You let the holy thoughts that come with these sacred gifts come into your mind… You join as one with God’s peace and joy… You remember that God’s gifts of peace and joy belong to you today.
