Let Peace Be

The peace of our true Self extends eternally to the Eternal. Peace is the nature of our true Self, constant and undisturbable. It joins us with all that is real. It joins us with God.

Anything that appears to disturb our peace comes from a false image of what we are. When we believe in this false image, the eternal peace of our true Self is unknown to us, hidden beneath the uncertainty and vulnerability of the false image. Yet peace remains eternally present and is revealed when we let go of the false image.

We have within us the Help we need to learn to recognize falsity for what it is. We need only take each perception of disturbance to the Holy Spirit in our minds with willingness to receive His gentle Correction. As we accept this Correction, we free ourselves from the self-imposed limitation that made us unaware of the eternal peace we are. As we practice this, we let peace be.
