Letting My Misperceptions Be Corrected

My job is to extend Love equally to all. That includes the politician whose views seem to conflict with mine. It includes the driver who doesn’t follow the rules of driving I think are important. It includes the person who seems to be dirty or doesn’t dress as i think they should. It includes everyone who I may be tempted to judge. All judgments must be laid down if I am to extend Love equally to all.

To move toward this free extension of Love, my practice today is to bring every judgment that comes to my mind to the Holy Spirit with willingness to let my misperception be corrected. Thus will the divisive judgment be replaced by the unifying recognition that we are all one Love. There is no distance between us.
