Receiving Inspiration

Robert:
To be in peace does not mean to be lackadaisical or enervated. It is through being in peace that I receive inspiration, which is energizing and joyful. When I am inspired, I am motivated by Love, the Source of inspiration. Love automatically extends, because that is Its nature. So when I allow myself to be inspired in peace, joy is magnified, because Love is extended.

Today I will be vigilant for peace so that I can receive Love’s inspiration and extend its joy. This inspiration can be expressed in many ways within the world of form. It may be a thought in my mind that sees a brother in a loving light. It may be a smile to someone I’ve never met as I pass by. It may be remembering that a loved one remains safe in God, even though their body seems to be experiencing some form of dysfunction. Or it may be working peacefully at my computer. As I focus on staying in a state of peace, I learn to do through inspiration and Love. This is how I learn of the Love that is my true Nature. It brings great joy.


Mary:
This morning the Holy Spirit gave me a phrase to use whenever I notice that I am not at peace. The phrase is: “God’s Love is changeless.” Remembering this brings me back to sanity. God’s Son cannot change how he was created and so the whole Sonship is still perfect Love. Nothing can happen to change God’s one Son — God’s whole family of Love.

Remembering “God’s Love is changeless” helps me distinguish between the real and the unreal. If what I am seeing is unreal, I need not take it so seriously; I can let it pass by. Letting false ideas pass by is how I wake up from the dream of separation.

The helpful thought, “God’s Love is changeless,” is like a purifying agent that lets me easily let go of what is not real and does not matter. I do not need to change or fix something that I remember is not real. This awareness returns me to peace. It returns me to the truth that only Love is real. This is being vigilant only for God and His Kingdom.

Today my practice is to remember all through the day that God’s Love is changeless. This helps me rise above to see the Love that is always there behind every form of separation.
