Resolving Problems

Robert:
Yesterday I read a quote from A Course in Miracles, “Trust will resolve all problems now.” This is not telling me to trust in my own strength. The Course says that if I trust in my own strength, I will have every reason to be apprehensive and fearful, because I have no strength apart from God. It is trust in Love, my Source, that will resolve all problems. There is no conflict in Love, so it is impossible for Love to have problems.

This reminds me again that my function is to let go of the barriers to Love, which are really forms of lack of trust. I let go of barriers to Love by letting go of the past, by forgiving. This is how I will open the way to see the face of Christ in all things. It is a process of learning to disregard the images my body’s senses show me and give all my regard to the vision of Love my true Self sees. This is my practice for today.

ACIM reminds me, “In quietness is every problem quietly resolved.” Today it is my opportunity to open to the peace and quiet of the Holy Spirit to receive a change in perception. This is what time is for. This is my practice for today.
