Seeing Beyond Appearances

‘I rest in God.’ This thought will bring to you the rest and quiet, peace and stillness, and the safety and the happiness you seek. ‘I rest in God.’ This thought has power to wake the sleeping truth in you, whose vision sees beyond appearances to that same truth in everyone and everything there is. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.109.2:1-4)

Today is a day to see beyond appearances. We make way for this by letting ourselves rest in God. God knows us as Himself. As we let ourselves rest in Him, we remember His peace. His joy comes with it to fill our being. His vision shows us the truth behind the appearances of the world.

We rest today in His Love and see His Love everywhere as appearances fade away. We invite our brothers to join us in this rest, remembering that together we are God’s Love and there is nothing outside of It. We see beyond all appearances as we rest in God.
