Serving Your True Self’s Will

The Holy Spirit holds salvation in your mind, and offers it the way to peace. Salvation is a thought you share with God, because His Voice accepted it for you and answered in your name that it was done. Thus is salvation kept among the Thoughts your Self holds dear and cherishes for you.

Salvation comes from this one Self through Him Who is the Bridge between your mind and It. Wait patiently, and let Him speak to you about your Self, and what your mind can do, restored to It and free to serve Its Will. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 96, W-pI.96.7:2-4;8:3-4. There is a part of us that remains perfect Love as Love created It. It is ever present, though denial has made us unaware of It. This part of us wills only to share Its Love and join with the Love that is everywhere always, changeless and in peace. That is the will of our true Self.

While we seem to remain in a world of separate bodies and forms, our only function is to hold our minds open to the vision of our true Self, the vision of Love. As we are able to let Love be our Guide, judgment is replaced by the recognition of innocence; fear is replaced by joining in Love. We become messengers of Love and serve our true Self’s Will. This is how we bring salvation to the world.
