The Singular Path to Freedom

My function here is to forgive the world for all the errors I have made. For thus am I released from them with all the world.

God’s Will is perfect happiness for me. And I can suffer but from the belief there is another will apart from His. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 115, W-pI.115.1:2-3;116.1:2-3. See also ACIM Lesson 115 Insights.)

We have been given the path to peace and freedom, along with the Guide to lead us. The path is narrow because its singular purpose is what makes it true. It is guaranteed to lead us Home. We need only choose to follow it.

The ego thought system of separation is the idea of having multiple choices. Yet if only truth is true, there is only one meaningful choice — to accept the truth. Because the ego is the denial of truth, it is incapable of leading us to truth. It will always choose diversions and detours off the path to truth.

Fortunately our only meaningful choice is available to us in every moment. We can always choose the Guide to Truth. This Guide will lighten the path that leads to the recognition that we remain Love as Love created us. We retain all Love’s attributes — peace, joy, innocence and unity with our Source and all Love’s Creation.

Today we practice opening to our Guide to truth, moment by moment so that our decisions lead us Home to peace.
