Today We Welcome Heaven

Deny not Heaven. It is yours today, but for the asking. Nor need you perceive how great the gift, how changed your mind will be before it comes to you. Ask to receive, and it is given you. Conviction lies within it. Till you welcome it as yours, uncertainty remains. Yet God is fair. Sureness is not required to receive what only your acceptance can bestow.

Ask with desire. You need not be sure that you request the only thing you want. But when you have received, you will be sure you have the treasure you have always sought. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 165, W-pI.165.4:1-5:3). See also ACIM Lesson 165 Insights.

Judgment is the denial of Love. It is the denial of our Identity as God’s Son, Love’s extension. Because the world we experience with a body is the denial of Love, we all experience a sense of lack of Love. We search for Heaven because we have denied Its eternal presence. It is this we do every time we judge.

Every time we ask the Holy Spirit to help us forgive, and accept His help, we ask for Heaven. We ask to return to Love. We extend a little more welcome to the Truth. Today we ask for Heaven by practicing bringing all our unforgiving thoughts to the Holy Spirit with willingness to accept His help to let them go. Today we welcome Heaven through forgiveness.
