We Rest in God

You perceive from your mind and project your perceptions outward. Although perception of any kind is unreal, you made it and the Holy Spirit can therefore use it well. He can inspire perception and lead it toward God.

He tells you to return your whole mind to God, because it has never left Him. If it has never left Him, you need only perceive it as it is to be returned. The full awareness of the Atonement, then, is the recognition that the separation never occurred. The ego cannot prevail against this because it is an explicit statement that the ego never occurred. (A Course in Miracles, T-6.II.9:5-7;10:5-8)

We all eternally rest in God. We are all the pure Spirit of Love, as God created us. We are all one, whole and complete in the one Mind of perfect Love. Our purpose now is to follow Holy Spirit’s lead to the awareness of What we really are and Where we really are right now in the eternal present.

We are dreaming a dream of separation and the content of the dream of separation is not true. The separation never occurred in reality. Letting this truth return to our minds through our receptivity to the Holy Spirit is what time is for. We are returning to the truth that in reality we rest in God and every brother rests in God along with us. This is our practice for today.
