Because he has wholly aligned his thoughts with the Holy Spirit, he is the manifestation or expression of the Holy Spirit. So when he says, “I am in charge of the process of Atonement,” (T-1.III.1:1) we can think of it as the Holy Spirit speaking to us through the symbol that we call Jesus. It is not important that we believe that this is Jesus talking. The ego can easily get caught up in theological debates and try to keep our attention on ‘outer form’ rather than the truth of oneness.
