In God We Trust

I am able to place my trust in God only when I give the Holy Spirit the time during the day to transform my thinking. When I become wrapped up in the world’s stories, the tendency is to believe in the stories and get lost in them.

These stories always involve belief in vulnerability, lack and loss. It is only when I am willing to step back from these stories and give time to resting in the Holy Spirit’s peace that I am returned once again to the awareness that we are all safe in God and have never left. In truth nothing has happened to change God’s one Son. We are all safe in God’s Mind as Love and nothing else.

Giving time today to receiving Holy Spirit’s healing gifts of Love and peace is very important. I need to step back again and again and again today to receive Holy Spirit’s gift of the truth. This important practice is what this day is for.

The ego doesn’t trust anybody, especially God. That is why when I identify with the ego, I feel alone and vulnerable. But there is a part of my mind that remembers the unity and changelessness of my Home in God. It is this part in my mind that is always in peace, being certain of its safety and wholeness. It is this part of my mind that reminds me of What I am. This part of my mind that does trust in God because It knows that It remains one with God. This part of my mind always trusts in God. Today is an opportunity to focus my attention on the part of my mind that remembers.
