Let Him Lead the Way

Let Him evaluate each thought that comes to mind, remove the elements of dreams, and give them back again as clean ideas that do not contradict the Will of God.

…Now has our ministry begun at last, to carry round the world the joyous news that truth has no illusions, and the peace of God, through us, belongs to everyone. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.151.13:4,17:3)

If we want to be happy, we need to let go of trying to interpret anything on our own. Believing that we are on our own is the denial of happiness because it is the denial of the Self that God created as His Son. This is why the practice of letting the Holy Spirit, our true Self, be the Interpreter of everything is the key to happiness. He knows that nothing that the body’s senses perceive means anything and looks past it to the truth that is the Spirit of Love in everyone and everything. It is the recognition of this that brings happiness. We want to be happy and so our practice today is to put the Holy Spirit to the forefront of our minds as our preferred Interpreter in every moment. This is how we let Him lead the way.
