Letting Christ Express Through Us

It cannot be that it is hard to do the task that Christ appointed you to do, since it is He Who does it. And in the doing of it will you learn the body merely seems to be the means to do it. For the Mind is His. And so it must be yours. His Holiness directs the body through the mind at one with Him. (A Course in Miracles T-25.I.1:1-5)

All efforting comes from thinking we are separate and alone. That belief in separation denies the strength of Christ in us. It denies that we remain as God created us. It denies that we share God’s Will.

All this denial is tiring. It leaves us drained at the end of the day so that we have to rest the body that is the symbol of this separation. All we need to do to be revitalized in truth is to accept the Life that is already in us and is What we are in truth.

With this acceptance we no longer need to defend against or fear the Will of God. In fact we joyously accept this Will, which is our happiness. When we accept this Will we share with God, we accept the Christ that we are and all our doing becomes simply a matter of letting Christ express through us. There is nothing else to do. Today we practice stepping back and letting Christ express through us.
