Letting Go of the Past Brings Blessing

When I have forgiven myself and remembered Who I am, I will bless everyone and everything I see. There will be no past, and therefore no enemies. And I will look with love on all that I failed to see before. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.52.2:5-7)

Do we want to feel God’s blessing? Do we want to feel His Love? Do we want to feel safety that cannot be threatened? All this is already given us in our creation as God’s Son.

All that keeps us from experiencing this is our belief that we are separate from God and each other. We are believing in an image that was made to hide ourselves from Who we really are. We release ourselves from this barrier by letting go of the past, by forgiving ourselves. The means to forgive is already in our minds, given us by God as the Bridge between our dream of separation and our reality in Him.

Today we will be vigilant to bring our images from the past to the Holy Spirit for Him to shine His light of Love on them so that we can see past them to the recognition that we are the one Self that joins us with all our brothers and our Creator.
