Peace In the Eternal Now

Robert:
I want to see my brother as he Is — as Love and nothing else. I want to see myself as I am. These two statements are the same, for there is only one Self. A Course in Miracles tells me that the body’s eyes can only show me separation. So to see my brother and myself as the one Self we share requires another way of seeing — the Holy Spirit’s vision.

The body’s eyes will always see signs of vulnerability, lack and loss. To know the peace of God I must accept the Holy Spirit’s vision in my mind as all I want. The world still holds some attraction to me, for I still spend much of my day with opinions about what situations and events mean. But the means to be free from that is in my mind. I need only prefer the Holy Spirit’s vision in place of what the body’s eyes show me.

My practice today is to pay attention to Holy Spirit’s vision. It is the path to peace.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
The whole way out of dreaming dreams of separation is to let go of the past and let go of the future, and remember the Eternal Now is the only “time” there is. Today focus on the Eternal Now. Allow in the idea that you are eternal Spirit That is still as Love created you. And every brother is there with you in the Eternal Now as the perfect Son of God, unchanged and wholly innocent.

Today let yourself soak in the idea that you are eternal Spirit, safe in Love of God. You rest in God, along with every brother. Dreams are not fearful when they are seen through Christ’s vision. So today, let go of the past and future, and let the eternal presence of Love be your only Guide.
