Holy Spirit, Take the Wheel

Letting Holy Spirit take the wheel is always the best policy. It puts in charge the Presence That has the vision, not only to see the road in front, but also what has gone by and is yet to come. I need nothing more than that.

My job is to get over myself and any thinking that I have any clue from the past how to make plans for the future. The part of my mind that thinks it has a clue is addicted to making plans to feel secure. Yet these plans are based upon a perception of the past that has no substance and therefore cannot make a plan that can successfully make me truly safe.

My job today is to accept Holy Spirit’s lead and let go of any idea of having a separate will that is in opposition to the Holy Spirit’s, a.k.a. God’s Will. This makes sense when I remember that God’s Will for me is perfect happiness. This is all I really want. So today is another day to practice following the lead that will take me to the perfect happiness that is my inheritance.


Today my practice is enhanced by allowing my mind to be emptied of all I think I know about what is best for me or best for anyone else. Giving time to quiet openness to God’s Will is how I am led with quiet certainty. This is my practice for today.
